This song is about finding a place to call home, and taking back your strength “without the world in the way”. It was inspired by friends who took their family on a three month epic canoe trip in the Northwest Territories, including their two songs who were only 1 and 4 years old. The message extends beyond their trip to resonate with anyone looking for a personal sanctuary in life: in the beauty and solitude we can find in the wilderness of our own minds.
